For 15 years, Free Arts proudly partnered with the New York Road Runners for their half and full marathons, uniting people to run and raise funds for their art-making programs. Over the years, they collaborated with contemporary artists to design unique shirts for the runners. For the 2024 NYC Marathon, held on November 3rd, Free Arts teamed up with Shantell Martin for this special project. A dedicated group of thirty-one runners supported the cause.
Past contributing artists included longtime friends of Free Arts, such as Eric Haze, Lee Quiñones, Futura, and André Saravia, among others.
