This past Sunday, November 18th, Shantell Martin premiered an experimental, intimate performance bridging music, spoken word, performance, and dance. Martin collaborated with Harkness Dance Center 2017-2018 resident artist Joanna Kotze to create this immersive experience. "My lines become sound. My mind & my voice just like the ink in my pens. This is where I push myself and free myself in a new medium. This is where I step outside my comfort zone and embrace the unknown with the same confidence I have when I pick up a pen.
