Taking  over  21  large  scale  screens  throughout  The  Oculus

September
2019

Now live a new collaboration with Art Production Fund and Westfield WTC. The site specific work by Martin is the sixth art installment of an ongoing video art program produced by Art Production Fund. The installation, Are You You, exposes some of the questions and repetitions we find ourselves asking: Are you being you? Are you being true? Are you YOU? Taking inspiration from the public nature and the history of the location, the work intentionally plants questions for viewers to reflect upon and consider as they pass through the center. The video work will appear on both center’s state-of-the-art digital media networks, including Westfield WorldTrade Center’s 21 screens of varying sizes, with one measuring four stories tall and another 280 feet long and Century City’s two 100-foot large-format and high impact digital media screens between Sep 16th and Oct 11th.

“The World Trade Center is my route home most of the time and these are the thoughts I've had in the space often

that will now be visible on the screens.” – Shantell Martin
