2019

Shantell Martin is proud to announce that she was one of the recipipients of the 92Y Extraordinary Women Awards for 2019 alongside Judy Glickman Lauder, Lisa Blau,  Amanda Eilian, and Impact Award Honoree, Dre Thomas.

The 92nd Street Y has a rich history of supporting generations of women and girls at all stages of their lives through innovative programming and initiatives. Being there for the women in the community in times of need is a tradition that has grown into their legacy, and it is a commitment that continues today, with a multitude of programs that benefit women and girls, from their Parenting Center to teen artistic producers. Particularly notable is the Women in Power Fellowship, which is, a unique program that provides senior level women across all professional sectors the peer support, mentorship, training, and coaching needed to advance them to the highest levels of leadership—for free. Funds raised at the Extraordinary Women Awards raised support for all of these essential programs.

The awards is celebration of extraordinary women who have impacted the community through their leadership and contributions in support of other women.
