HELP  USA’s  Art  of  Resilience  Benefit

March
2025

On Friday, February 7, 2025, HELP USA hosted its annual Art of Resilience Benefit at the historic National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, NYC. This powerful evening brought together art, philanthropy, and purpose, highlighting the transformative role that creative expression plays in healing. As the 2025 Artist Host, Shantell Martin led guests through an engaging hands-on art workshop, reminding guests about the power of drawing, and connecting with your own line.

The event showcased moving artwork created by individuals in HELP USA’s art therapy programs, which support those living in the organization’s NYC shelters and supportive housing. Throughout the night, guests explored a gallery of participant artwork, witnessing firsthand the resilience and strength of those finding healing through creativity. A special moment came when Gale Sitomer, President of Michael Bolton Charities, announced a foundational grant to expand Art of Resilience to include music therapy, further broadening how HELP USA empowers individuals through artistic expression.

The evening was a resounding success, with a full house of artists, philanthropists, and supporters. Proceeds from the event will help expand HELP USA’s art therapy program, allowing more children and adults to heal and build a brighter, more stable future through creative expression. Shantell’s involvement in this initiative reflects her dedication to using art as a tool for connection, healing, and advocacy.
