92Y welcomed Shantell Martin to a three-month multimedia residency - the first of its kind. During this residency, Shantell Martin created an exhibition entitled, WHY NOW in 92Y’s Weill Art Gallery which featured video works, sketchbooks, and works on canvas. She also appeared in conversation with Ilana Glazer and conducted an interactive presentation with over 500 NYC public school children, as well as live music and dance performance with modern dancer Joanna Kotze.
